2021
Candamo is a council in the Principality of Asturias, located in the central part of the region. It is a rural enclave between Las Regueras, Grao, Illas, Castrillón, Soto del Barco, Pravia and Salas. It has a population of 1,967 inhabitants, according to the latest census.
Our work
In 2021, we supported the municipal authority in drawing up a Participatory Strategic Plan, to which we sought to contribute a cross-cutting approach. We delved into the key elements of the territory and its specific context, from the collective construction of the vision and strategic objectives to successful implementation through specific projects and management systems adapted to local realities and aligned with the 2030 Agenda. This process not only sought to align institutional efforts, but also to give citizens a voice, promoting transparency, inclusion and shared responsibility in building a more resilient and equitable community.
